The Drag Racer Appreciation day and test & tune has been rained out.
It’s been a few days now since I announced publicly the sale of Pacific Raceways. Since Friday, here are some of the main questions that have been asked; let me answer them:
(KENT, Wash) -- Pacific Raceways (PR), the Northwest's premier motorsports facility, has been listed for sale for the first time in 54 years, and is being marketed by CBRE and Corporate Finance Associates (CFA). Located in King county and featuring 320 acres, a road track, drag strip, motocross track, karting facility, and 22,500 permanent seats, PR is the state's fifth largest outdoor spectator venue.
(WOODBURN, OR) – Team Pacific Raceways had a stellar weekend at the 2014 NHRA Northwest Division 6 Summit Racing Series Finals at Woodburn Dragstrip capturing the Manager’s Challenge, taking second place in the team race and sending Norm Braedt and Gordon Rust to the ET Finals at the Winternationals in November.
(KENT, Wash) – The 28th Annual O’Reilly Auto Parts NHRA Northwest Nationals will have a new weekend in 2015 as NHRA officials announced the race will move back one week to August 7-9. The race at the Kent track will be the 16th stop on the 24-race Mello Yello Drag Racing Series tour.
