(KENT, Wash) – Both the motocross track and the drag strip are open today (Wednesday, May 14) at Pacific Raceways. After a brutal weekend of rain, both premier racing surfaces are ready for action!
Gates to the motocross track will open at 3 pm with practice from 4 – 10. The cost to participate is $25 per rider per class. There is a $5 adult gate fee for those 16 and older.
The drags kick-off at 4 p.m. with an open test and tune and the first round of the Urban Custom Bikes Wednesday Drag Series. Tech cards are $40 and spectator and crew admission is $8.
On Friday (May 16), racing returns to Pacific’s MX track with the Redline Motorsports Friday Night MX Series. At the drag strip, the first Friday night program of EF-65 Jr. Dragsters and Car Club Challenge takes place. In addition, the West Coast Streetcar Association will have qualifying for its Saturday race.
Drag racers staying overnight are asked to pay a $10 camping fee, which is new this year.
