(KENT, Wash) – The calendar has rolled over to 2012 and Pacific Raceways is gearing up for a new season of racing action on both the quarter-mile drag strip and the 2.25 mile road course.
The 2012 racing schedule is being finalized and will be available soon. A sneak peak at the schedule has a couple of March test and tunes on the strip before the season opener in April. The always fun High School Drags will be contested this year on a Saturday, giving high school racers from around the Northwest a full day of competition. August will again be a busy month with the O’Reilly Auto Parts NHRA Northwest Nationals the first weekend, the Division 6 Lucas Oil Drag Race Series mid-month and the Division 6 ET Bracket Finals the last week of August into the first weekend of September!
On the road course, test and tune action will begin in February giving licensed racers a chance to test equipment prior to the start of the racing season. For road course test and tune details, contact the raceway office at (253) 639-5927. The fan and racer favorite, SOVERN Historics will be the weekend before July 4th.
New for 2012 is a Pacific Raceways’ Roll-X 16-Hour Enduro race on the road course. It’s your chance to build a $500 car...that’s right a $500 car…and compete in a team racing competition for money and bragging rights. Info on the Roll-X is available on our website.
Pacific Raceways will be at the Corvette and High Performance Swap Meet at the Puyallup Fairgrounds on February 11-12 with Bracketstars.com. Stop by, say hi and grab a schedule!
