(KENT, Wash) – Pacific Raceways’ new development project of 205,000 square feet of garage space will lead to $2 million of improvements to the iconic multi-purpose race track. The building project, which has been submitted to King County, is in the review phase with an anticipated construction date of this summer.
“We have some significant improvements planned once we get half of the garage space leased,” said Jason Fiorito, Pacific Raceways president. Improvements include repaving the road course and drag strip, rebuilding the permanent restrooms and a host of other facility-wide upgrades including electrical hookups in the paddock/pits.
“Everyone from racers to fans will benefit from the improvements,” he added.
The building project will provide racers, car enthusiasts, innovation companies and businesses an opportunity for garages and shops that are adjacent to the raceway. Garage space ranges from 1,000 – 40,000 square feet.
