Letter to Friday NW Nats Ticket Holders

March 27, 2020 Published by

Dear Race Fans,

Thank you for buying tickets to the 33rd Annual NHRA Northwest Nationals on July 31 – August 2.  We truly appreciate your business.

These are difficult times with many of us impacted in ways we never thought possible.  Our hearts go out to race fans and others throughout the world suffering from COVID-19.

As you may have heard, the NHRA released news Wednesday, March 25 that professional teams (Top Fuel, Funny Car, Pro Stock and Pro Stock Motorcycle) have agreed for economic and logistical reasons to shorten qualifying at six races including the NHRA Northwest Nationals  This means there will be no professional qualifying on Friday.  Teams will have Saturday only to qualify with eliminations on Sunday.  There will be plenty of sportsmen qualifying on Friday as their regular schedule of qualify on Friday and race on Saturday and Sunday does not change.

So what does this mean for you?

If you want to exchange your Friday tickets for either Saturday or Sunday, we will be happy to find you the best seats possible by calling the Pacific Raceways office at (253) 639-5927 Monday – Friday 9a – 4p or by calling Ticket Force at 877-840-0457 Monday – Friday 8a – 4p .  The upgraded price to a Saturday or Sunday ticket will NOT be passed on to you.

For those of you who have purchased a three-day ticket, we are working with the NHRA on a plan to offer you a credit for your Friday ticket.  More details will be provided to you in the coming days.

Finally, we are working on ideas to offer something unique to race fans who still want to come on Friday to experience NHRA sportsmen racing, meet with pro drivers and crew, and tour the pits and midway.  If you have ideas or suggestions of what you would like to see on Friday, drop me an email.

We are fortunate that the 33rd Annual NHRA Northwest Nationals July 31 – Aug. 2 will remain on the calendar, not all events were as fortunate.  Thank you for your continued support.

I will be updating you with more information when it becomes available.

Sincerely,

John Ramsey
