Pacific Raceways is a NHRA Sanctioned Track
The drag strip at Pacific Raceways hosts drag racing from March to October, with over 50 dates from local grassroots racing to the annual NHRA Northwest Nationals event!
The racing season is anchored by the A Street Automotive Gold Cup ET Series that features a point series for Super Pro, Pro, Sportsman, and Motorcycle with the LARGEST GUARANTEED PAYOUTS in the Northwest. Other race series include the Cornwell Tools Junior Drag Race Series and the Cornwell Tools High School Drag Race Series.
Minors MUST complete a Liability Release each year!
Pacific Raceways’ famed quarter-mile has been the site of legendary drag races and drag racers for over 50 years, including legends such as Jerry “The King” Ruth, Herm Petersen, “240” Gordy Bonin, Ed “The Ace” McCulloch, and Jim Green, to name a few.
Today, Pacific Raceways is home to the NHRA Northwest Nationals – the largest motorsports event in the Northwest and one of only 24 national events, with stars such as John Force, Tony Schumacher, Courtney Force, Greg Anderson, and Erica Enders, to name a few. The NHRA Lucas Oil Division Six Drag Racing Series – featuring the best sportsman racers in the Northwest – also anchors the drag schedule.
The backbone of drag racing at Pacific Raceways is the weekly racers who compete in the Swift Tool Drag Race Series – part of the Summit ET Bracket Series – and specialty events scheduled from April to October. The EF-65 Junior Dragster Series – for kids 8-17 – is a starting point for many racers. Pacific Raceways’ High School Drags is one of the most significant events of its kind.
Local racers, who got their drag racing start at Pacific Raceways, are some of the most successful sportsman racers in the country. Racers such as Jody and Toby Lang, Mark Faul, Brad Plourd, and Mike Ferderer call Pacific Raceways home.
