Big Weekend with Drags and Festivals

The second busiest weekend of the year is here with three large events in three days. Friday (July 25) the dragstrip comes alive with the Goodguys Vintage Friday Night Drags. Tickets are $30 and sold at the gate for the event that starts at 10 a.m. and runs to 10 p.m. On Saturday, the car club Avants has its big Avantsfest for members from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. featuring a car show, lead/follow on the road course, and some pro exhibition cars. Sunday is the world famous Hondafest NW, which is one of the largest gatherings of Hondas and Acuras in the northwest. Gates for Hondafest open at 11 a.m. with drag racing scheduled for noon.
