(KENT, Wash) — The Place to Race lives up to its name this weekend (May 11-12) with road racing during the day and drag race on Saturday night.

The paddock will be filled with PRO3 BMWs, ground pounder stock cars and other sports cars and open wheel racers as IRDC runs a series of sprint and endurance races on Saturday and Sunday. On-track action begins at 9 both mornings and runs to 4 p.m. on Saturday and 5 p.m. on Sunday. Tickets for this event are free. Spectators must stop at the entry gate to sign a waiver before entering.

Saturday afternoon, gates will open shortly after 4 p.m. for an A Street Automotive ET Gold Cup Drag Race with Super Pro, Pro, Sportsman, Motorcycles and High School vying for prize money and trophies. Cost for spectator admission is $20. This will be the first A Street series of the season as the opener on May 4 was rained out.
