(KENT, Wash) The typical Northwest winter of rain, snow and high winds haven’t slowed down progress at Pacific Motorsports Park as crews continue working on the first two of five buildings that are being leased to customers interested in garage space at Pacific Raceways.
As of Feb. 10, one building is completely closed-in with walls and roof and the second building is not far behind with the walls tilted in place. The 40,000 square-foot buildings will have garage/shop space configured in multiples of 1,250 square-feet (1,250, 2,500, 3,750, 5,000, etc).
Each 1,250 unit will have its own shop door, man door, electrical service, lights, garage heat and stubbed out for water and sewer. Each garage can accommodate a loft or mezzanine level that nearly doubles the floor square footage.
The first two buildings are projected to be ready for occupancy in early summer. The three other buildings – part of a demonstration project of 200,000 square-feet of space at the raceway – will be built over the next few years.
