This weekend’s Lucas Oil Regional Drag Race (July 7-10) will feature Top Alcohol Dragster and Top Alcohol Funny Car for the first time in several years thanks to sponsorship from Epha Hose Protectors and Tracey Copeland Motorsports. The two sponsors represent the Top Alcohol teams of Mitch Meyers and Kim Parker.
While the rest of the Lucas Oil racers will compete in two separate races – one Thursday/Friday and the second Saturday/Sunday – the Top Alcohol Dragsters and Funny Cars will qualify on Friday and race on Saturday with run times at approximately 12 p.m. 3 p.m. and 5:30 p.m. both days. The crowd favorites are known for side-by-side 265 mph races down the quarter mile. Racing in all the classes begins at 9 a.m. each day. Tickets are just $25 for adults with kids 12 and younger free with a parent.
