Drag race fans must mark their calendars for Friday and Saturday, May 20-21, for the inaugural Full Blown Frenzy Presented by O’Reilly Auto Parts. The two-day race features quarter-mile nostalgia cars and eighth-mile grudge machines. Headlining the event on both days will be the EFX Sports Tomahawk Jet Car, piloted by Derek Snelson.
On the nostalgia side, the race will feature BB Funny Cars and the Nitro Nostalgia Funny Car of Tim “Hitman” Eickstadt, the front engine dragsters and roadsters of the Northwest Nostalgia Tour, the hard-charging Bow Ties from the Western 348/409 Club, and a 32-car field of 1978 and older drag cars. West Coast Grudge MOB 275 and big tire West Coast King cars will be racing on the eighth mile.
Legendary Top Fuel and Nitro Funny Car driver Jerry “The King” Ruth will be the honorary Grand Marshall with a car display and autograph sessions both days.
