ToyRun Coming Soon

November 9, 2023 Published by John Ramsey

A holiday tradition continues December 3rd with the 21st Annual NW ToyRun benefiting kids throughout the Puget Sound region. The partnership of cars and giving was the brainchild of Allan Kettle, who established the first event at a Metro Park and Ride lot. Since then, the ToyRun has become a December fixture at The Place to Race.

Toys and cash collected during the ToyRun go to Rick Rizzs’ Toys for Kids, which is a program created in 1995 by Seattle Mariners’ announcer Rizzs and former Mariner outfielder Dave Henderson.

The NW ToyRun is an opportunity to show your car or collection of cars and donate an unwrapped toy or contribute cash to help provide gifts to children in need. Entry into the Dec. 3 event from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. is one unwrapped toy per person or a $5 donation per person.
